Dear Zoe, Many thanks for such a wonderful cake decorating lesson yesterday (a great pressie from my friends). I have to say I was very nervous before I arrived, but you really made it so relaxed and easy to follow.... I can't stop showing everyone the cake I decorated, people can't believe that firstly I did it and that I got to take it home with me. Well it's going to get eaten today .... though a bit odd that I'm taking a Christmas cake to a Birthday party! You have given me so much confidence to carry on and practise (though I've a long long way to get anywhere near to your level).

Both of the sugar paste rose bouquets you made for me are true works of art. My mum couldn't believe the leaves were icing too! Nobody will eat them though because they are so beautiful. Thank you for your hard work and care - Jenny

We managed to keep the party as a surprise and he was lost for words, when we arrived everyone was in the pub garden and sang happy bithday as he got out the car. The cake looked lovley in the centre of the table and a few people asked where I got it so I gave them your name. We only came home with half a zero so they really enjoyed it. Once again many thanks and keep on baking!

"I really must write to tell you how much we appreciated the 80th Birthday cake my daughter ordered for her mother. The Teddy Bear's Picnic theme was inspired, with the piece-de-resistance being the part-eaten sandwiches.

It is often said of sugarcrafted decoration that it is a shame to cut into it. This was a case in point. However, we had to cut into
it to enjoy the excellent cake within."

"Sheer artistry – but a real shame to eat it!" This was my response to my lovely birthday cake created, personalised and handcrafted for me by “Your Hearts Desire!” a bespoke cake artistry studio! I could go on describing this special cake which celebrates my love of fishing (until the trout come home) - in full colour sculptural form, blending these with texture with wit and realism! The river stones and fisherman looked so real. Alas – sadly all cakes have to be eaten and believe me this tasted
every bit as good as it looked! All that is left now are the memories, photographs and a few mementos.
